Community is Messy
Featuring: Heather Zempel
Leaders often want their groups to be simple and tidy or mess-free. When that doesn’t happen, they can feel like they’ve failed. But messes in groups aren’t the exception; they’re the rule. That’s because people are messy.
Heather Zempel is the discipleship pastor at National Community Church in Washington D.C., and the author of a book called, Community Is Messy. She spoke to our Groups staff in 2014 and this video is an excerpt of her talk.
