What is the Bible? Group Study

What is the Bible?

from BibleProject

"What is the Bible?" explores the origins, content, and purpose of the Bible. Here you'll be introduced to some of the basic skills necessary for reading the bible effectively. Following this week, consider jumping into a Bible study, possibly the gospel of Luke.

“What is the Bible?” is a one-week video curriculum for groups.

These video-based Bible studies are designed to get groups discussing the Bible. These discussions should lead to better understanding of who God is, inspire us to dig into the Bible for ourselves, and help us to make applications in our everyday lives.

To use this study, complete these steps:

Step 1 (Prep Work):

Print and review the Background Information and watch the video to prepare for group. Also, print copies of the Discussion Guide for your group members.

Step 2 (Icebreaker):

For group, print one copy of the Icebreaker Handout, but do not show it to the group until the Categories video instructs you to do so.

Step 3 :

Follow the Discussion Guide to answer questions, watch the video, then debrief.
