We all want to be free, but most of us feel the pull toward pressure, performance, and proving ourselves—sometimes even in our relationship with God. That’s exactly what was happening when Paul wrote to the Galatians. They had embraced the grace of Jesus, but they were drifting back into bondage, trading freedom for rule-keeping and approval-chasing. Paul’s urgent message to them: Don’t go back.
