Following Jesus is not just about what you know or what you do. It is about the kind of person you are becoming.
LDG is a nine-month group experience for people who are currently leading in our church and want to grow as followers of Jesus. The emphasis is on spiritual development, not practical leadership skills.
LDG gives you a place to step out of the pace of everyday life, take an honest look at your relationship with God, and pay attention to the kind of person you are becoming.
LDG is designed to help you:
Develop a thriving relationship with God that is worth replicating
Build intentional relationships with others who want to be known and grow spiritually
Gain a better understanding of who God is and who he created you to be
Create rhythms that help you stay connected to God in everyday life
Curriculum
LDG is built around questions every follower of Jesus needs to keep asking:
Who is God?
Who am I becoming?
What story is shaping my life?
How do I stay connected to God when life is full?
Each session includes preparation designed to help you slow down, reflect, and put what you are learning into practice. You will typically read one book each month, along with reflection questions and spiritual practices such as prayer and reading Scripture. Plan to invest approximately 30 minutes a day between meetings.

Participate in an overnight Stories Retreat

Meet one-on-one with other group members between sessions
