LDG is a unique group experience designed for people who are currently leading in our church. The emphasis of this group is on spiritual development, not practical leadership skills. Our hope is for each person to:
Better develop a thriving relationship with God that’s worth replicating
Be intentionally tracking with other people who desire to be known and grow spiritually
Gain a better understanding of who God is and who he created you to be
Curriculum
Topics include Who is God?, Telling Your Story, Holy Spirit, Identity in Christ, Character, Spiritual Growth, Understanding the Bible, and Purpose. Each topic will include assignments to complete prior to the group meeting (books, videos, podcasts, reflection questions, etc.). The time commitment is estimated to be 30 minutes a day to prepare for each meeting.
Commitment
Leader Development Groups involve a high level of commitment. It includes:
Meeting once a month (three-hour sessions) for nine months
A stories retreat
Completing all the assigned reading and reflection exercises (30 minutes per day)
One-on-one meetings between sessions with other members of the group
Financial commitment of about $200 for books and retreat (Financial assistance is available if needed)
Attend the mandatory kickoff event

July 30: Notification of acceptance
September 14 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.: Kick off meeting in the Attic
LDG Placement Process
LDG groups are formed based on application responses, church engagement, and availability.
Men’s and Women’s Groups: Couples interested in participating should apply to separate groups.
Availability: Indicate your preferred days and times on the application.
Scheduling: At the kickoff event, the group will schedule the next eight months of meetings based on your availability.
