Group Guidelines
We’re so excited for you to jump into your new group! Start the meeting with the group guidelines video.
Group Launch | Part 1
We hope your group is a place where you connect relationally and grow spiritually. During the next few months, you’ll explore topics related to life and faith but this session is all about getting to know one another.
Don’t have any new members in your group? Start with the Group Checkpoint for Session 1 instead.
Session 2
Group Launch | Part 2
The goal of a group is to provide everyone the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth.

Session 4
The Expectation Gap | Part 1
Most of us don’t struggle to believe that God loves people, but believing that God loves me is a different story. In this session, Steve introduces some of the voices that fill the gap between what we believe and what we feel. We’ll discover how to hold those internal messages up to truth and begin resting in a love that doesn’t rise and fall with our performance
Session 5
The Expectation Gap | Part 2
We believe God is with us, but sometimes it’s hard to see any evidence of that. In this session, Steve unpacks some false needs we have, and how they fuel anxiety to make God feel distant. We’ll hear what it looks like to let go of God-sized responsibilities and trust him with what only he can carry.
Session 6
The Expectation Gap | Part 3
“I thought I’d be further along by now.” Most of us have felt that. This session reframes spiritual progress by shifting our focus from what we’re doing for God to what God is doing in us.
Session 7
The Expectation Gap | Part 4
When the gaps between what we believe about God and what we actually experience begin to close, something unexpected rises to the surface: peace. In this final session, Steve paints a picture of what peace looks like in real life and invites us to take one step toward living from the wholeness God offers.
Session 8

Session 9
The Letter of Galatians | Part 1
Paul opens his letter to the Galatians in all-caps urgency, reminding them they’re slipping from grace into performance and people-pleasing. In this session, we’ll explore the difference between earning God’s approval and embracing the acceptance already given through Jesus. It’s an invitation to notice where we drift toward bondage—and to step into real freedom.
Session 11
The Letter of Galatians | Part 2
Even spiritual leaders like Peter felt the pressure to fit in and win approval. This session examines how fear, comparison, and the desire to impress can pull us away from living with integrity. We’ll discover what it looks like to stop trying harder and begin trusting the Spirit’s work in us.
Session 12
The Letter of Galatians | Part 3
Paul reminds believers that they are no longer slaves but children of God—fully welcomed, fully loved. In this final session, we explore what it means to live with the confidence of belonging and to walk by the Spirit instead of the flesh. Freedom becomes something we experience not just personally, but in how we love, support, and carry one another.
