Remaining curious is the fuel behind spiritual growth. Many times the focus of our curiosity is towards God and other people, but it's important for us to remain curious about ourselves as well. A famous theologian once said it like this:
Nearly all wisdom we possess, that is to say, true and sound wisdom, consists in two parts: the knowledge of God and of ourselves. (John Calvin)
