If you're like me, you'd rather put off until tomorrow what you should probably do today. It's not the healthiest way to live, but it's my reality. I'd rather have fun now, and work later . . . at some future time that I'm not interested in defining and planning right now.
Procrastination is common. It's part of the human condition. But that doesn't mean you have to let it undermine the quality of your life or your leadership.
This TED Talk by Tim Urban breaks down the anatomy of procrastination. It may be a good wake-up call for managing your tendency to put off what needs to be done until the stress in your life becomes overwhelming. I know it helped me.
