Lent has begun and Easter is just around the corner. Whether or not you normally do anything to observe Lent, this is a time of year when your group members are either more contemplate or want to be more contemplative. As the holiday approaches, they're probably feeling a pull toward connecting more deeply with God.
You might as well take that momentum into account as you plan what to do in group meetings this month.
Commit to doing a Lent daily devotional with your group, and then check in each group meeting to see how things are going and share your big takeaways from your time reading Scripture. Some of my favorites include Preparing for Easter: Fifty Devotional Readings from C.S. Lewis and Richard Rohr's Wondrous Encounters: Scripture for Lent. There are also a ton of great free options on the YouVersion Bible app.
Just remember that Lent is a great time to celebrate how your group members have grown during the course of the group, and to encourage them to take time to disconnect from the daily grind and connect to their heavenly Father.
