Group Leader Registration
Thank you for providing a place to experience authentic community and spiritual growth by choosing to lead a group!
Member registration will open Sunday, August 20 and will launch the week of September 3. Groups will meet for approximately 9–12 months.
Step 1: Register your group online.
Before you register, please consider:
Whether your group will be exclusively digital or in-person
Area of town where you would like to meet
Meeting day and time
Co-leader’s name and email (if applicable)
Number of new group members you would like to add (not including you, your co-leader, or any existing group members)
Taking or locating a picture of yourself (or you with your co-leader)
Group Leader Registration:
Step 2: Save the date.
Your first meeting will be the week of September 3 at your selected meeting day and time. There will not be a Group Launch event at the church.
Step 3: Connect with your group.
You have an opportunity to set the tone for your group before you ever meet. Follow the steps below to help generate excitement for your members and increase the chance of them participating.
Once new members sign up for your group, reach out and welcome them within 48 hours. You can create your own email or personalize the sample emails we’ve provided.
As your roster grows, start a get-to-know-you conversation with all group members (new and existing) and let them know where to meet.
Send a third email reminding all group members to show up for their first group meeting the morning of your group’s first meeting.
Please note:
If someone cannot attend the first group meeting but would still like to be in the group, please make a note in order to reserve their spot on the roster.
If someone can no longer be in the group, they should update their registration using the Update Your Registration link in their confirmation email.
